Park Slope Back to projects
An intensive green roof, approximately 8” of soil depth, on top of a first floor extension
of a Park Slope Townhouse. The roof is below a large oak tree that shades the lower
building. The green roof is planted with shade tolerant native perennials such as
Christmas Ferns, Foamflower, Heuchera, and Appalachian Sedge. This plant palette
creates a woodland environment and natural habitat.
